Waller originally started Dementia TLC as a passion project to help those affected by Dementia – including loved ones and care providers. Through both Instagram and Facebook, Waller was able to share her knowledge and experience to empower and uplift others and to bring together a wealth of experience from around the globe.

“While I am still passionate about advocating for the rights of those with Dementia (and those along with them in their journey), this was a project that I was doing in my ‘spare’ time on a voluntary basis,” said Waller, who also runs a business providing legal advice to individuals, businesses and firms of solicitors. “It is important for me that Dementia TLC remains what it always has been, a free resource for anyone affected by Dementia.”

Waller believes her goals and vision of Dementia TLC are in very capable and trusted hands. “I have asked the amazing team at All Home Care Matters, headed up by Lance, to help me continue the Dementia TLC project,” she said. “I am in awe and absolutely inspired by the great work that All Home Care Matters does and so when I was thinking about someone to take over the reins at Dementia TLC, they were the first (and only) option to pop into my head.”

Dementia TLC joins the All Home Care Matters Family

Waller said they share the same vision for the site.

“I will be getting my head down in the UK and concentrating on building my business – On Your Terms – providing businesses with the foundation to build their own success by making sure their Terms & Conditions of Business, Sales Contracts, Staff Contracts and Procedures and Data Protection Policies are all in place,” Waller said. “I definitely won’t be stepping away from the Dementia landscape completely and I am always happy to talk (linkedin.com/in/legalleah).”

Slatton added: “Being able to continue the long standing work of Dementia TLC that Leah has started is truly an honor. We’re looking forward to expanding on the work of Dementia TLC and continuing to reach more families that are faced with caring for their loved ones with dementia. Our goal is to let every family know that someone is there for them.”
