OKX Wallet has announced the launch of its Free Gas Campaign to celebrate the introduction of its account abstraction-powered Smart Account feature. The campaign allows users of Smart Account to enjoy gas-free transactions and contract interactions on seven blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, Avalanche and OKT Chain.

With the launch of the Free Gas Campaign, OKX Wallet will subsidize each user’s gas fees, up to a limit of five USDC/USDT and three transactions per day, until August 22, 2023 at 11:59 (UTC+8). The campaign applies to all contract interactions via Smart Account, such as token swaps, transfers and NFT trades – except for DEX-related transactions on the Ethereum network.

On 7 August, 2023, OKX Wallet’s Smart Account feature became open source. Jeremy Allaire, Co-founder and CEO of Circle, recently commended the Smart Account’s gas fee payment with stablecoin capability on X, stating “great UX and making use of Web3 much simpler.”
