YGG’s Beryl Li Joins Fashion League as a Co-Founder; Donald Schneider and Angelic Vendette Join Advisory Board

Fashion League joins forces to re-invent digital fashion by appointing YGG’s Co-founder Beryl Li to Co-founder of Fashion League and expanding their advisory board with “the king of brand campaigns” Donald Schneider and Alo Yoga VP and CMO Angelic Vendette.

ZURICH, Switzerland, Oct. 19, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Fashion League, the first Web3 create-to-own and free-to-play mobile game to run a fashion empire, is today announcing that Beryl Li, Co-founder, Yield Guild Games (YGG), will be joining Fashion League as a Co-Founder. In addition to Ms. Li, Donald Schneider, Creative Director at Donald Schneider Studio, and Angelic Vendette, Vice President and Global Head of Marketing & Web3 at Alo Yoga, are announced as the newest members of Fashion League’s board of advisors. The news comes ahead of “The Backstage Pass,” Fashion League’s first-ever and free NFT drop, on October 19th.

“We’re thrilled to have Beryl join Fashion League as a Co-Founder. Her experience as a leading figure in making blockchain gaming more accessible is key to Fashion League’s mission to bring new people into Web3 gaming – especially women,” said Theresia Le Battistini, CEO of Fashion League. “In addition to Beryl, Angelic and Donald bring an incredible skill set to the table. The whole organization will greatly benefit from their creative and marketing expertise.”

Mr. Schneider, the “king of campaigns”, is best known for his designer collaborations with some of the most recognizable brands, such as Karl Lagerfeld for H&M, Kendall Jenner for About You, and many more. Ms. Vendette is apart from her position at Alo Yoga heavily engaged in women-led NFT projects and projects from artists of underrepresented communities. In 2022, she founded WomenRightsNFTs to raise awareness and funds for women’s rights in light of Roe v. Wade being overturned. Schneider and Vendette are the latest members of an all-star advisory board that includes Zanna Roberts Rassi, Style and Entertainment Journalist, E! News and Co-founder of Milk Makeup; Robby Yung, CEO, Animoca Brands; Thomas Vu, former Executive Producer of League of Legends at Riot Games and of the Netflix series Arcane; and Charles Tigges, Director of Business Development Games, Unity, to help establish Fashion League not only as the fashion mobile game, but also to help shape the future of digital fashion by creating a platform for brand collaborations.

In Fashion League, players become virtual designers and build their own digital brands. They earn rewards by designing, selling, sending models on quests, and participating in design competitions. In addition, brands will be able to display products, improve their product-market fit with real-time analytics and collaborate with players and the community. This brings utility to a brand’s digital assets and makes them tradeable by bridging the gap between virtual and real-life products. At Fashion League, brands will be able to directly collaborate with the community through the game.

“I’m so pleased to be a part of Fashion League’s mission to create an accessible, female-focused creative gaming atmosphere in Web3,” said Beryl Li, co-founder of Fashion League. “This is a space where gamers, fashion enthusiasts, and brands can collaborate to create the next wave of metaverse assets and experiences that amplifies fashion and brand identities.”

Women make up an increasingly large percentage of the $300B gaming industry – today, nearly half of all gamers are female. And with women spending an average of 40% more than their male counterparts on clothing each year, Fashion League caters specifically to women gamers.
