CRCLS Co-Founders’ Team Wins Two First-Place Bounties at ETHToronto, Official Hackathon of Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto

CRCLS co-founders participated in ETHToronto and, together with their hackathon team members, won two first-place bounties totaling $10,000 from Axelar Network and Swing Finance.

(“CRCLS” or the “Company”) is excited to announce that its co-founders’ team won two first-place bounties totaling $10,000 from Axelar Network (Axelar) and Swing Finance (Swing) at ETHToronto on August 10, 2022, in Toronto. CRCLS CEO Matthew Grannary’s and COO Karl Pawlowicz’s team built a cross-chain NFT renting app using Axelar’s and Swing’s technologies.

Blockchain Futurist Conference (Futurist) is Canada’s largest three-day blockchain and cryptocurrency event. Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, headlined the event along with 120 guest speakers, industry experts, and thought leaders and over 5,000 participants from 40 countries. The event was aimed at discussing, exploring, and inspiring opportunities in blockchain technology, crypto, DeFi, DAOs, the metaverse, NFTs, and more.

ETHToronto is the official hackathon of Futurist taking place in a 40,000-square-foot Hacker Dome where 500 participants compete for $110,000 in prizes.
