Bitfarms Appoints Chief Operating Officer and Announces Grants of Options

TORONTO, Ontario and BROSSARD, Québec , Dec. 09, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bitfarms Ltd. (NASDAQ: BITF // TSXV: BITF), a global Bitcoin self-mining company, today appointed Geoff Morphy as Chief Operating Officer of Bitfarms in addition to his role as President. In addition, the Company granted stock options to officers, directors, employees, and consultants of the Company.

Options to purchase an aggregate of 2,750,000 common shares were granted to officers, directors, employees and consultants pursuant to the Company’s Long Term Incentive Plan. The Options are exercisable into common shares of the Company at a price of CAD$8.13 per share for a period of five years from the date of grant and are subject to vesting conditions
